ABOUT THE INGREDIENTS

Full Spectrum Hemp Distillate:
Our Full-Spectrum Hemp Extract is made by Boojum in-house by extracting cannabinoids and terpenes from local, Utah-grown hemp flower. We use 200-proof cryo-ethanol during our extraction process that is gentle and free of harmful chemicals or thermal degradation. Touch body oil contains this potent hemp extract, giving patients access to full-spectrum oil for topical use.

Jojoba Oil:
Jojoba oil is an emollient harvested in the harsh climate of the American southwest. It’s made from the seed, or nut, of the jojoba shrub, and is a favorite skin-care ingredient due to its many beneficial characteristics. It’s a non-comedogenic humectant (which helps skin retain moisture) with hypoallergenic properties. It’s said to help condition the skin through controlling sebum and soothing the skin to help control eczema, acne, or other skin conditions.

Meadowfoam Seed Oil:
Meadowfoam seed oil is an emollient with a light velvety texture, harvested from flowery herbaceous coastal shrubs. It’s similar in consistency to natural sebum, which makes it suitable for all skin types. It’s composed of mostly fatty acids and antioxidants, and works well as a thickening agent to enhance other ingredients.

Vitamin E:
Tocopheryl Acetate is a form of vitamin E. It’s the only form of the vitamin that’s recognized to meet human requirements. It is shelf-stable, and often used in small doses in moisturizers and serums.

Sunflower Seed Oil:
The sunflower plant has been used to help condition skin and hair in the Americas for around five thousand years. The emollient oil made from its seeds is rich in nutrients, and is a popular ingredient in topical skin care today.

Lavender, Peppermint & Menthol Essential Oil Blend:
Lavender, lemongrass, and peppermint essential oils were all chosen for their wellness benefits and mood-elevating aromas. Lavender, which gets its distinct scent from linalool, has long been used in aromatherapy and other traditional remedies to help unwind and inspire peace. Cooling peppermint oil has also been used aromatically and topically around the world for centuries.
